LEARNING OBJECTIVE OF MODULE:

Student completing the module must know how to use accounting software to write and analyze financial statements, estimate an organization’s capability based on financial statements.

Modules will be delivered in an innovative manner, in synchronization with Industry needs, by experts from Industry and maximum use of technology. It will be hands on experience with live case studies and not the traditional model of classroom learning and written examinations. Evaluation will be based on credits gathered by cracking business problems in a creative way and MCQs to verify grasp of concepts.

 

Faculty Profile
Dr. Sangeeta Pandit a Chartered Accountant associated with P.D. Kunte & Co. Chartered Accountants, from 1984. Areas of expertise include audit and representative practice, consultancy on accountancy, taxation, finance and strategy. She would represent clients at the income tax office and as counsel before the Commissioner of Income Tax and Income Tax Tribunal.

She is now in academics, head of finance at Sydenham Management Institute. She was also part of Start-up team of Management Institutes-United World School of Business. Malad and MBA program of Bombay Stock Exchange Training Institute. She is a visiting faculty in B Schools of repute in Mumbai and US.

She is an accredited cancer patient counsellor and obtained her PhD in issues relating to healthcare. She works closely with various bodies for financial inclusion. She is actively associated with Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, Bombay Chartered Accountants Society, BSE Brokers Forum and CII IWN. She is an Independent Director in listed companies. She is a sought after Corporate Trainer. She has to her credit research articles and books written on topics related to finance.
